To “understand” something, someone, or some situation doesnt necessarily always mean you HAD to live it, see it, or properly examine it. To understand also means to comprehend, make logical inferences or guesses to the thing your trying to understand. Although, having first hand experience on the specified topic may seem like the only way to “truely” understand, one with an open mind, heart, and spirit can too understand like the ones of first hand.
